At New River Health we're available to care for the whole family through all stages of life. As a multi-specialty practice we can often serve you with back to back appointments for your checkup, your child's well-child exam and an appointment for an aging parent. We see children at all of our school-based health sites as well as our main locations:

  • Infant, child and adolescent health care

  • Immunizations, well-child and school exams

  • Primary and preventive care

  • Home-based education and support for parents

  • Benefits counseling

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in accordance with the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act (FSHCAA), as amended, sections 224(g)-(n) of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, 42 U.S.C. �� 233(g)-(n), deemed New River Health Association to be in accordance with the Act that provides liability protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), 28 U.S.C. �� 1346(b), 2672, or by alternative benefits provided by the United States where the availability of such benefits precludes a remedy under the FTCA, for damage for personal injury, including death, resulting from the performance of medical, surgical, dental, or related functions by New River Health Associations employee�s while acting within the scope of such employment and its covered individuals.
